8 Basic Ingredients for Women to Succeed

How do we define success, it can be the result of achieving a norm we set for ourselves that can include the desire to reach a certain state of power or a rank, through attaining wealth or a position of importance. While these definitions may describe some people, women are constantly redefining what it means to be truly motivated and successful as women tend to define these terms based on their values, beliefs, and circumstances.

It seems that men and women can be in the same work scenario and define success in completely different terms. Most women value a pleasant working experience and a sense of independence and a safe environment to work as a perfect setup, while men generally aim for salaries and positions, and are comparatively less bothered by societal issues like safety at work, making their path to success slightly less arduous.

As women, we often have this thing about comparing ourselves to others and judging ourselves based on the performance of the ones we look upon.  We may come across many women who are innately driven and possess what appears a perfect balance of motivation and the ability to achieve great things with boundaries. They manage to come across as perfect mothers, and wives and along with it have a perfect career graph.

We all possess qualities that will help us achieve our set definitions of being successful, all we need to do is tap into those and bring out our best. Theodore Roosevelt has very aptly put that “Comparison is the thief of joy.” It’s much easier to enjoy and appreciate our successes when we’re not consumed by the fear of not living up to other women's standards.

To help you find the qualities that might have your path to your desired success here we try to list some characteristics successful women have in common. You may notice that you have some of these ingredients in your persona, while some others may not have an iota of presence in your personality. Simply becoming aware of these qualities and making an effort to cultivate them can lead to future success:
