On this Father’s Day, we appreciate every dad who stood with us despite uncertainties and turmoil and always made sure we smiled. We are grateful for you everyday.

While fathers are often seen as strong figures and the primary providers for their families, they possess the most tender and compassionate hearts, even softer than mothers. They are the unsung heroes who tirelessly work to support their family's growth, often sacrificing their happiness and missing out on celebratory moments. A father is truly a blessing in a child's life and their first encounter with a real-life superhero. No obstacle is too daunting for a father; he knows how to rescue you from the deepest depths and guide you to safety, even before you realize you're in need.
Allow me to share my journey. Throughout his life, my father has worked in a distant part of the country, which limited our opportunities to meet him on special occasions or when he could manage some time off. Initially, my sister and I felt a sense of sadness and sometimes even argued with him about his absence. He always expressed his helplessness in being with us permanently due to our educational commitments preventing us from relocating. As time went on, my mother decided to join him, while my sister and I resided in a bustling city under the care of our guardians or grandparents. Once I completed my schooling, my mother and I took turns visiting my father, and when my sister finished her education, our situation improved significantly. Through it all, my father has remained steadfast, supporting even the smallest of our needs.
 
Now, he is making an effort to become more technologically savvy so that he can stay connected with us more easily.
 
On a personal note, my father has consistently been a pillar of support in my life. Two years ago, during the Covid pandemic, when I lost my job, he generously extended his help and assisted me in relocating to his place. It was during the challenging lockdown period in 2020 that we had the opportunity to further strengthen our bond. In 2021, when circumstances began to improve, my sister and I decided to plan a special family vacation around his birthday, surprising him in the process. We wanted to celebrate his special day at a carefully chosen destination. We ensure that we make the most of his retirement years by creating cherished and joyful memories together.

My dad has been very supportive with my part-time job. He believes that it has been immensely helpful, especially since I lost my job due to a layoff. He takes great pride in the fact that I am independent and self-reliant, supporting myself and providing significant support to him as well. His support and encouragement helps me to keep going even in the toughest of times.
Proverbs 23:22 reminds us to listen to our fathers, who gave us life, and to honor our mothers as they grow old. This Father's Day, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my dad for all that he does.

It is widely believed that our thoughts, habits, and actions are a reflection of the environment in which we were raised, ultimately defining who we are as individuals.
 
The interests, passions, and skills that I possess greatly mirror my father's personality. I absorbed these qualities without even realizing it.
 
Today, I work as a digital marketer, requiring me to be creative, analytical, and readily available to my clients whenever they need me.

In everyone's life, a father holds a unique place, particularly for daughters who see him as their first hero. Fathers love their children deeply and make countless sacrifices for their well-being. My father is no exception, but there are certain qualities that make him truly unforgettable in my life. Although he is no longer with me, the support he provided will forever remain etched in my heart.
During my childhood, my mother worked in Dubai, leaving my father to care for us. As three sisters, whatever tasks were typically assigned to my mother, my father wholeheartedly took on. Despite his shift duties, he never shirked his daily responsibilities towards us. From preparing our lunch boxes in the morning to dropping me off at school and arranging evening tuition classes, he fulfilled these roles with the dedication and tenderness of a mother.
Even as I embarked on my career, his support remained unwavering. I encountered numerous challenges due to my limited English language skills, having studied in a Telugu medium school. The corporate world demanded proficiency in English, and those initial two years were critical for me. If my father hadn't supported me during this time, I might not have been able to progress in my career. Following my marriage, I contemplated giving up my job and solely focusing on being a homemaker. However, my father opposed this decision, leading to a significant conversation where he eloquently explained the importance of a woman's career. Now, I realize the truth in his words. Even during my pregnancy, my father wholeheartedly supported me, ensuring I maintained a healthy diet and took care of my overall well-being.
After relocating to Bangalore, I found myself juggling numerous responsibilities and my job, without much support from others, including my husband. Yet, my father made it a point to speak with me every day after work, uplifting my spirits and encouraging me to achieve my goals while balancing various roles. He always inspired me to seek new opportunities for career growth. In fact, it was he who suggested I register with Flexibees after seeing an advertisement. He has been the driving force behind my ability to face challenges head-on and develop a resilient mindset.
